Woman Missing In Newark: Police (Photo)
A 79-year-old Newark woman was reported missing on Saturday, June 8, authorities said.
Felisima Alvarez was last seen at noon heading northbound on North 7th Street toward 6th Avenue, Newark Public Safety Director Fritz G. Fragé said. Alvarez has been diagnosed with diabetes and memory loss, Fragé said. She speaks only Spanish, Fragé said.
She is 5'3" and weighs 130 lbs. and was last seen wearing a long sleeve plaid shirt, blue jeans with an embroidering design on the back pants pocket, and gray, black, and white sneakers with her hair in a bun, Fragé said.

Seen HIM? Alert Issued For Missing Newark Man, 72, With Memory Loss
Authorities are seeking the public’s help locating a 72-year-old Newark man with memory loss who was reported missing on Monday.
Curlie Hayes, Jr. was last seen on the 100 block of Carolina Avenue, Newark Public Safety Director Anthony F. Ambrose said in a release.
Hayes, Jr. is 6 feet 1 inch tall, weighs 167 pounds and has a medium brown complexion, graying hair and brown eyes. He was wearing a pink shirt and gray sweatpants at the time of his disappearance, Ambrose said.
Hayes, Jr. also suffers from memory loss, his family said.
