Big Lots Laying Off 385 NJ Employees As Stores Close: Here's Where
Big Lots, the popular discount retailer, is officially going out of business, which means hundreds of workers are about to lose their jobs.
The company, which filed for Chapter 11 bankruptcy in September, has announced plans to close all 963 of its remaining stores nationwide, including 18 locations in New Jersey.

NJ TikTokers Audition For 'American Idol' (Video)
A pair of young New Jersey natives left their first "American Idol" auditions with more than feedback from the judges.
Camryn Champion, 16, of Lumberton, and Cole Hallman, 22, of Manasquan, have tickets to Hollywood.
Hallman, accompanied by his sister with special needs, only recently started singing in the last five years. He performed "Lodi" by Creedence Clearwater Revival, before his sister, Katie, joined him to sing along.
Champion received coaching during her rendition of "I Know I'm Not the Only One" by Sam Smith.
Both Champion and Hallman showcase their vocals on TikTok.

Report: GNC Closes Additional 40 New Jersey Stores
After filing for Chapter 11 bankruptcy in June, GNC has announced closures of an additional 40 stores.
The nutritional supplement company had originally planned on closing just 10 stores.
According to NJ.com, the following 50 stores have either closed, or will soon:
