One Killed In Car Crash: Linden Police A 77-year-old Linden man was killed in a car crash on Tuesday, Oct. 3, police said. Police responded to N Wood Avenue and West Gibbons Street after a GMC SUV making a lefthand turn collided with a Chevy SUV, officers said.. Robert Pozanski, the driver of the GMC was transported to a nearby hospital where he later succumbed to his injuries, police said. The driver and four passengers in the Chevy were all transported to a nearby hospital with non-life-threatening injuries, police said.  This is the second fatal crash in Linden this week. Pedestrian Fatally Struck By Car In Linden: Police A pedestrian was fatally struck by a vehicle in Linden on Monday, Oct. 2 authorities said. The victim, who has not been identified, was crossing E. Linden Man, 59, Killed In Route 9 Central Jersey Crash With Dump Truck A 59-year-old man from Union County was killed while pulling into a gas station in a collision with a dump truck on Route 9 in Central Jersey, authorities said. Renan Perez, of Linden, died Thursday, Sept. 21 after the crash in the Parlin section of Sayreville, according to Middlesex County Prosecutor Yolanda Ciccone alongside Chief Daniel Plumacker of the Sayreville Police Department. At noon, police responded to the 200 block of Grand St. and learned Kyeshon Downer pointed at a rifle at another man and was still inside the home with a small child, officers said.
