Two People Killed In Violent Night In Newark: Prosecutors Two different shootings killed two people in Newark on Wednesday, Oct. 18, authorities said. At 7:27 p.m., police responded to a shooting on the 100 block of Dayton Street in Newark and found Rahim Wynn, a 41-year-old Newark resident, suffering from gunshot wounds, Acting Essex County Prosecutor Theodore N.
