Hunterdon County Man Sexually Assaulted 13-Year-Old: Prosecutor
A Hunterdon County man was charged after sexually assaulting a 13-year-old, authorities said.
Wayne S. Stangil Jr., of Ringoes, was charged with criminal sexual contact and child endangerment on Friday, July 8, Hunterdon County Prosecutor Renée M. Robeson said in a press release on Thursday, July 14.
Stangil, 23, is accused of engaging in criminal sexual contact with the 13-year-old victim, who was allegedly known to him previously, Robeson said.
Additional details were not released.

Kevin Stephenson, 62, was charged with second-degree aggravated assault, possession of a weapon for an unlawful purpose, assault by auto, aggravated assault with a deadly weapon, and other offenses, Hunterdon County Prosecutor Renée M. Robeson said in a release on Monday, July 11.

Authorities are seeking the public’s help identifying two suspects in a Hunterdon County car burglary.
The suspects — pictured above — broke into a vehicle in the parking lot of the Cushetunk Preserve on Saturday, July 2, Clinton Township Police said in a release on Sunday, July 10.

South Jersey To NY Journey Ends With 250 Pounds Of Coke Seized, Pair In Federal Custody
Federal agents followed a tractor-trailer loaded with nearly 250 pounds of cocaine for more than 75 miles from South Jersey to New York before busting the driver and a co-conspirator in Yonkers, authorities said.
They were right behind when Eddie Velez-Pena, 33, of Yonkers, stopped the tractor-trailer in the Hunterdon County town of Hampton, NJ, U.S. Attorney for New Jersey Philip R. Sellinger said.
