Child Admits Drawing Swastika On Glen Rock Middle School Desk, Police Chief Says
UPDATE: A Glen Rock middle school student admitted drawing a swastika on a classroom desk, authorities said. The drawing is apparently an isolated incident, Police Chief Dean Ackermann announced on Saturday afternoon, Dec. 17. Swastikas Found Scrawled At Glen Rock Middle School
Detectives were investigating the discovery Thursday morning of two swastikas drawn in pencil in a boy's bathroom at the Glen Rock Middle School, authorities said. School officials contacted them after discovering the symbols in the middle school section of a building that also houses the borough high school, Police Chief Dean Ackermann said. Detective Sgt. Police: Swastika Found At Glen Rock School
A swastika was found drawn on the wall of a bathroom shared by Glen Rock's high school and middle school last week, authorities said Monday. "There are no suspects, nor has a specific intended target been identified," Police Chief Dean Ackermann said. "A bias incident follow-up was completed by the Detective Bureau based upon limited information [made] available from school officials" following last Tuesday's discovery, the chief said.
