Paterson Cop Exposes Himself To Child: Police
A Paterson police officer has been arrested and charged with lewdness and endangering the welfare of a child after an incident involving a juvenile, Bloomfield Police said. Angel Acevedo, 31, of Newark, was taken into custody on Monday, Dec. 2, after officers responded to reports of an adult male exposing himself to a juvenile on Franklin Street, local police said. Police said the juvenile was walking home when Acevedo allegedly called out from a vehicle and exposed himself. He then fled the area in his vehicle, authorities said. Bloomfield PD: 2 Arrested, 3 At Large In Series Of Stop & Shop Thefts
Two people were arrested and three others at large in a series of thefts from a Bloomfield Stop & Shop, authorities said. Jennifer Gaguancela 21, of Bloomfield and Savanah Diaz 20, of Newark went through self checkout and rang up $84 worth of items at the Franklin Street store on May 5, Bloomfield Public Safety Director Samuel DeMaio said. What they failed to do, however, was ring up an additional $308 of additional items, DeMaio said. Gaguancela and Diaz were charged with shoplifting and have pending court dates. It’s a winner! A pair of lottery tickets sold in Essex and Hunterdon counties will split a jackpot of more than $891,000. The winning numbers from Wednesday's Jersey Cash 5 drawing were 19, 27, 33, 44, and 45. The XTRA number was 03. The tickets were sold at Pintus Quick Stop on Franklin Street in Bloomfield and Perryville Wine & Spirits on Rt. 173 in Hampton. The winning tickets are worth $445,676 each.
