Snow In New Jersey: School Closings, Delays Announced As Winter Weather Worsens Heavy snowfall and hazardous road conditions have prompted school closures and delays across parts of North Jersey Friday, Nov. 22. Precipitation is expected to continue throughout the day, with snowfall accumulation most significant near and north of the Route 78 corridor in Pennsylvania and northwest New Jersey, according to the National Weather Service in Philadelphia/Mount Holly. The British Swim School instructor and lifeguard -- 29-year-old Anthony Capuano -- went in after him. And the entire rescue was caught on tape. Capuano, of Elizabeth, was just 17 years old when he was struck by a train in Jersey City. He's been living with a prosthetic limb, but that hasn't stopped him from living an active life.
