As more becomes known about the highly transmissible COVID-19 Omicron variant from both studies and anecdotal evidence, new symptoms of the strain continue to emerge. Those infected with the strain may experience loss of appetite and brain fog, according to a ZOE study conducted in the United Kingdom. Granddaughter Charged In Horrific Elder Abuse Case Wants 'Prayers For Family'
Two siblings and their mother arrested in a horrific case of elder abuse in Pennsylvania are accused of neglecting a 76-year-old woman in their care for years. Lori Giacomelli, 56, of Forward Township (Allegheny County) and her children Rachael, 24, and Nicholas, 20, were each charged with two counts of neglect of a care-dependent person. Royal Caribbean Cruise has finally returned to the Port of Baltimore after a 21-month hiatus due to COVID-19 with its Enchantment of the Seas vessel. The state has partnered with Vault Medical Services to send tests to residents via expedited shipping, the health provider’s website says.
