21-Year-Old Man Missing After Leaving Essex County Hospital: Sheriff's Office A 21-year-old man remains missing after he left Essex County Hospital Center in Cedar Grove on Tuesday, Dec. 17, authorities said. Timothy Robinson left the facility on Grove Avenue toward a nearby neighborhood, the Essex County Sheriff’s Office said. Robinson is 5"8" and weighs 130 to 150 lbs., authorities said. He was  last seen wearing all-black sweatpants, sweatshirt, and Crocs, with possibly a blue/gray coat, authorities said.  Robinson is developmentally delayed and is not classified as a danger to himself or others, authorities said. The girl was walking her dog around 9 p.m. Tuesday when, she said, the dark-colored, older-model four-door sedan stopped near the intersection of Hopkins Street and Stever Avenue. Ho-Ho-Kus police sought the public's help finding the hit-and-run driver whose sedan struck and severely injured a borough woman as she walked her dog near the Ridgewood border Tuesday night. The 57-year-old pedestrian was in a marked crosswalk on North Maple Avenue at 1st Street when she was struck around 7 p.m. by a red sedan that then kept going north on Maple, Ho-Ho-Kus Police Chief Christopher Minchin said.
