Pedestrian Critically Injured In JC Hit-And-Run Crash: Police A 35-year-old Jersey City resident was seriously injured in a hit-and-run crash at midnight on Monday, May 15, authorities said. Jersey City police responded to Newark Avenue and Coles St and found the man with serious injuries, Hudson County Prosecutor Esther Suarez said. He was transported by EMS to Jersey City Medical Center where he is in critical but stable condition, Suarez said. The vehicle did not remain on the scene, Suarez said.
