23 Small Aftershocks Reported By USGS In 23 Hours After New Jersey Earthquake
The USGS is reporting 23 aftershocks in the 23 hours since the New Jersey earthquake that rattled the Northeast. The initial earthquake had a magnitude of 4.8 and was reported in Whitehouse Station at 10:23 a.m. Friday, April 5. Tremors were felt by more than four million people from Maryland to New Hampshire. The first aftershock was reported just under an hour later at 11:20 a.m. 6 km NNE of Whitehouse Station with a magnitude of 2.0. Two men and a woman were caught after a spree of car burglaries throughout several Morris County parks, authorities said. Officers responded to at least five reports of break-ins of cars that had been parked in parks across Mendham, Chester, and Washington Townships in the afternoon on Monday, Oct. 10, the Morris County Sheriff’s Office said in a press release. Contractor Hospitalized Following Morris County Fall:

A contractor was hospitalized after suffering a fall while working at a Morris County home, authorities said. The fall occurred at a property in Chester around on Tuesday, June 14, Police Lt. Ryan McNamee told DailyVoice.com. A medical helicopter was requested and later canceled, McNamee said. The contractor was taken via ground ambulance to a local hospital for treatment. Additional details were not released.

Police ID Morris County Man Airlifted After Fall From Ladder
A Lake Hopatcong man was flown to a nearby hospital after falling from a ladder Monday afternoon, authorities said. Emergency crews responding to the fall report at 86 Main St. in Chester found Anthony Litterini, 29, with a head injury shortly after 12:45 p.m., Chief Thomas Williver said in a release. Litterini was flown via Atlantic Health Medevac to Morristown Medical Center for treatment, Williver said. The Chester Volunteer Fire Company also assisted at the scene.

These NJ ShopRite Stores Imposing Customer Limit Amid Coronavirus Spread
More than two dozen New Jersey ShopRite stores have implemented customer limits in an effort to stop the spread of coronavirus.
