Zion Diaz, of Hammonton, told others to block intersections, perform "burnouts" and block police vehicles from responding to emergency calls the night of Sept. 24, Cape May County Prosecutor Jeffrey H. Sutherland said. Diaz was arrested without incident and was charged with riot, a crime of the 4th degree. Ocean City Beach Patrol Member, Teacher Nabbed For Sex Abuse After Social Media Tip: Prosecutor A 40-year-old former member of the Ocean City Beach Patrol has been arrested on sexual abuse charges, authorities said. Police were first tipped off to the alleged crimes through social media posts, according to Cape May County Prosecutor Jeffrey H. Sutherland and Chief Paul Skill of the Cape May County Prosecutor’s Office. Arrested was Jonathan C. Howell of Marmora, they said. Instagram Account Accusing Ocean City Beach Patrol Of Sexual Misconduct Sparks Investigation The Cape May Prosecutor's Office was investigating allegations of sexual misconduct among members of the Ocean City Beach Patrol, CBS3 reports.
