Craig N. Sabatini, 37, of Massapequa, was taken into custody near the borough train station late last week, Capt. Greg McBain said. Police charged him with stalking, harassment and cyberharassment stemming from an incident on Aug. 24, records show. Sabatini was sent to the Bergen County Jail last Friday, Sept. 1, and was ordered released by a judge in Hackensack on Sunday. Boy Takes Fatal Leap From Fort Lee High Rise A boy leapt to his death Tuesday night from a high-rise building in Fort Lee, authorities said. Officers and Fort Lee paramedics found the boy lying unresponsive on the ground outside of at 1600 Center Ave., around 10 p.m., borough police chief Matthew J. Hintze said. Lifesaving efforts and CPR were unsuccessful and the boy, believed to be 16, was pronounced dead. The Bergen County Sheriff’s Department’s Bureau of Criminal Investigation and the Medical Examiner’s Office responded to the scene. The investigation remains ongoing.
