Charges Upgraded For Driver 2X Legal Limit After Death Of Jersey Shore Restaurateur: Prosecutor
A Seaside Park woman's charges were upgraded when a restaurant owner and well-known fly fisherman died more than a month after a hit-and-run crash. Genell Mcinaw, 50, surrendered to Seaside Heights police on Tuesday, Nov. 5, Ocean County First Assistant Prosecutor Michael Nolan Jr. said in a news release. Authorities: Off-Duty State Trooper Was 2X Over Legal Limit In Hoboken Police Car Crash
An off-duty New Jersey State Trooper was twice over the legal limit when he struck a Hoboken police car in an early-morning crash over the weekend, authorities said. Roy Sanchez, 28, was heading in the wrong direction down First Street in Hoboken, when Officer Harry Montavlo saw him, activated his lights and attempted to pull him over around 2 a.m. Saturday, Det. Family Of Female Passenger Killed By Wrong-Way DWI Route 80 Driver Demands Justice
The family of one of three people killed in a wrong-way drunk-driving crash on Route 80 last October is demanding justice. Miguel Botero of Dumont was charged Jan. 10 with three counts of reckless vehicular homicide in connection with the Oct. 18, 2019 deaths of passengers Jalen Davis and Julia Wells, 20, as well as another driver whom authorities haven't yet identified.
