Fighter Jets To Fly Over MetLife Stadium For Navy Vs. Notre Dame Football Game
The fleet of fighter jets that many people heard and saw as they flew into Teterboro Airport on Friday, Oct. 25 are expected to fly over MetLife Stadium on Saturday, Oct. 26. Five F/A-18s will be up in the air over the East Rutherford stadium just before kickoff, set for noontime, local police said. Business Class Passenger Accused Of Raping Woman On Flight From Newark To London
An airline passenger was charged with raping a woman in business class while others around them slept on a flight from Newark to London. The as-yet-unidentified 40-year-old suspect is accused of the assault on a Jan. 31 United Airlines flight bound for Heathrow Airport, according to multiple reports. Both passengers are British, authorities said. They reportedly sat in separate rows, didn't know one another but had been chatting in a lounge area earlier in the flight. Police: Bergen Wingman Who Thought He Bought Plane Scammed Out Of $10,000
A Bergen County man who thought he’d put a down payment on a Cessna got taken for $10,000 by a scam artist who told him the aircraft had crashed, authorities said. The Glen Rock victim told borough police he thought he had an agreement to purchase a 2004 Cessna 182T for $200,000 through a website called planecheck.com, Police Chief Dean Ackermann said. As part of the deal, he told police, he sent the purported seller a $10,000 non-refundable deposit. The “seller” was to have flown the aircraft from Georgia and to Greenwood Lake Airport in West Milford for delivery, Ackermann said. Wh…
