Police initially responding to reports of a child thought to have been missing led to the arrest of a New Jersey man in Virginia. Deputies from the Stafford County Sheriff's Office in Virginia were called to Mr. B's. on Warrenton Road in Stafford just before midnight Feb. 24, where a man later identified as Gucci Horvath, 36, was fixing a flat tire, police said. One of two Bronx men charged with pistol-whipping a Bergenfield gas station attendant during a robbery earlier this year was captured by Bergen County prosecutor’s detectives and federal agents as he arrived at Newark Airport on a flight from Honduras. Newark Gunman, Accomplice In Custody After Aggravated Assault Incident: Police
A Newark man pointed a gun at a woman before fleeing with an accomplice to a home where he was later arrested Wednesday afternoon, authorities said. Newark officers responded to a report of a man pointing a gun at a woman during an argument near Market Street and Littleton Avenue around 1:15 p.m., Public Safety Director Brian A. O’Hara said. Arrest Made In Hit-Run That Seriously Injured Westfield Woman
A Belmar man has been arrested for allegedly leaving the scene after he struck a Westfield woman with his vehicle earlier this year, crushing her lower body and causing other serious injuries, the Monmouth County Prosecutor's Office said Friday. Michael J. Spivak, 30, was charged with aggravated assault, endangering an injured victim, aggravated assault with a deadly weapon and assault by auto in connection with the June 1 incident.
