At 9:48 a.m., police responded to a report of a hit-and-run involving a pedestrian on the 1100 block of Grove Street, Acting Essex County Prosecutor Theodore N. Bronx Boy Charged With Bomb Threats At Kearney High School: Police A 13-year-old boy from The Bronx was charged with juvenile delinquency on Friday, April 14 for calling bomb threats into Kearney High School last week, police said. The boy has no connection to Kearney and picked the school at random, Captain Timothy Wagner said.  He was charged with two counts of terroristic threats in the third degree, Wagner said. A summons complaint was mailed to his residence, Wagner said.

Belleville Man, Newark Teen Arrested In Shooting Of 13-Year-Old Boy A Belleville man and 17-year-old Newark resident were arrested in a shooting that injured a 13-year-old boy in Newark. Officers responding to a shooting on the 100 block of Wakeman Avenue found the victim with a gunshot wound to his right leg and applied a tourniquet around 7 p.m. June 11, Newark Public Safety Director Brian A.
