The officer called dispatch for assistance as he saw the men drop the package in nearby bushes, police said. The two men were eventually stopped by police and arrested, officers said. The package was returned to its rightful owner, undamaged, police said.

Lu and Wong were charged third degree theft and were released on a summons, police said.
