Joye Rosario, 23, was picked up May 6 on charges of narcotics possession, possession with intent to distribute within 1,000 feet of a school, intent to distribute within 500 feet of a library and hindering apprehension
Police also discovered warrants for Rosario's arrest were issued in Cranford, Elizabeth, Linden, New Brunswick, Rahway, Secaucus, Tinton Falls and Woodbridge. The warrants totaled more than $5,400.
Rosario was being held at the Union County Jail.
Also arrested was a Roselle man, 22-year-old Towon Polk. Polk was wanted on warrants out of Cranford, Orange, Roselle and Roselle Park totaling more than $3,000. Polk was turned over to police in Roselle.
