The victim was crossing Division Street when she was struck around 7:15 a.m., a spokesperson for the Elizabeth Police Department said.
Another vehicle went around the cab and ran over the woman, lying in the street, the spokesperson said.
She was transported to Trinitas Regional Medical Center.
The investigation is continuing, however DUI was not a factor.
