Elizabeth Man Shared Child Pornography On Facebook: Prosecutor

The Union County Prosecutor's Office arrested an Elizabeth man for sending and receiving pornographic images on Facebook, the agency said in a statement Monday.

Henrqique Rodrigues, 50, was arrested Friday at his apartment and charged with endangering the welfare of a child. Authorities also seized electronic devices from the home, which were being examined, the prosecutor's office said.

Rodrigues is accused of using his personal Facebook account to share the images, including of two girls believed to be underage and living overseas, the prosecutor's office said.

He was being held at the Union County jail pending an initial court appearance Jan. 3.
