The PSE&G outage map shows 1,100 customers were in the dark on one side of Scotch Plains, and just more than 700 on another, as of 3:15 p.m.
One outage appeared to be stemming from two separate areas off of Lake Avenue, near the Clark border, and the other in a neighborhood off Westfield Road, between Coles Avenue and Lyde Place.
Restoration time was 6 p.m.
