Found Alive: Florida-Bound Sailboat That Left From NJ Located After 10 Days Without Contact
Two New Jersey sailors missing at sea for nearly ten days have been found alive.
Kevin Hyde, 655, and Joe DiTommasso, 76, departed Cape May on the Atrevida II NJ 7033HN) and were headed toward Marathon, FL, the US Coast Guard said. They were last in contact with family and friends on Dec. 3, when they departed Oregon Inlet, North Carolina.
Hyde and DiTommasso were found alive approximately 214 miles east of Delaware on Tuesday, Dec. 13 at 4:18 p.m., and were brought aboard Silver Muna with a pet dog.

Florida-Bound Sailboat That Left From NJ Reported Missing
A sailboat headed to Florida from New Jersey has been reported missing by the US Coast Guard.
Kevin Hyde, 64, and Joe DiTommasso, 76, departed Cape May on the Atrevida II NJ 7033HN) and is headed toward Marathon, FL, the US Coast Guard said.
The vessel is a 30-foot Catalina with a bluish-purple hull, while superstructure, and white sails and was last seen on Dec. 3, when it left Oregon Inlet, NC on its way to Jupiter, FL.
Atrevida II may have stopped in Morehead City, NC, but this information was not confirmed, officials said.

South Jersey To NY Journey Ends With 250 Pounds Of Coke Seized, Pair In Federal Custody
Federal agents followed a tractor-trailer loaded with nearly 250 pounds of cocaine for more than 75 miles from South Jersey to New York before busting the driver and a co-conspirator in Yonkers, authorities said.
They were right behind when Eddie Velez-Pena, 33, of Yonkers, stopped the tractor-trailer in the Hunterdon County town of Hampton, NJ, U.S. Attorney for New Jersey Philip R. Sellinger said.
They then followed him and the rig north to the border of Yonkers and the Bronx, the U.S. attorney said.
