Fugitive, Buddy Bound Elderly Victim In Gunpoint Elizabeth Home Invasion: Prosecutor
One man was in custody and another at large in connection with an Elizabeth home invasion in which they bound the elderly resident and held her at gunpoint last month, authorities said Friday, April 1.
The elderly victim had been restrained by Herby Desir, 34, of Rahway, and Emmanuel Rivera, 33, of Carteret, in the home on Summit and Colonia roads, but had been freed by a neighbor who found her and cut her loose, Daniel said alongside Elizabeth Police Director Earl J. Graves.

The host of a party where three people were killed and 11 wounded in Cumberland County has pleaded guilty to a gun possession charge, authorities said.
Darrell M. Dawkins, 31, was not accused of firing a gun during the May 22, 2021, mass shooting in Fairfield Township, but a handgun was found in the trunk of his car afterward, according to Cumberland County Prosecutor Jennifer Webb-McRae.

Atlantic City Man, 23, Indicted For Armed Robbery, Fatal Shooting At Hotel
A 23-year-old man from Atlantic City has been indicted in connection with a fatal shooting during a robbery in a hotel last year, authorities said.
Keshawn T. Faulkner, of Atlantic City, was indicted by a grand jury in for the murder of 25 year-old Wayne Brown, according to Atlantic County Prosecutor Damon G. Tyner.
Faulkner was charged with felony murder, robbery, unlawful possession of a firearm and possession of a weapon for an unlawful purpose, Tyner said.
