2nd Slingshot Motorcyclist Dies After Trenton Crash A second slingshot motorcyclist died after a Trenton crash that sent one victim into a nearby canal, authorities said. Michael James, 42, and his passenger, Kevin Kelly, 41, were in the three-wheeled motorcycle when it crashed on Passaic Street around 12 a.m. Tuesday, Trenton police said. Kelly was ejected into the Delaware and Raritan Canal, which runs parallel to the roadway, authorities said. He was pronounced dead. James was found lying in the street and rushed to a local hospital. He later died. The cause remains under investigation by the Trenton Police Department.
