Five people from Ocean County were accused of selling heroin, cocaine, and methamphetamine, authorities said.
The five were taken into custody during a month-long investigation into drug dealing, Ocean County Prosecutor Bradley Billhimer said in a news release on Friday, Sept. 20. Investigators identified a home on Bear Hollow Court in Little Egg Harbor used for the drug sales and established surveillance.

A Barnegat Township man admitted to having heroin, cocaine, and a stolen gun, authorities said.
Quaison Ellis, 25, pleaded guilty on Monday, July 15 to several charges related to two incidents, Ocean County Prosecutor Bradley Billhimer said in a news release. He faces up to 10 years in prison.

SWAT Standoff: Man Standing On Church Steeple Points Long Gun At Officers In Philly, Police Say
A barricade situation involving a man standing on a church steeple was unfolding Monday night, May 13 in Philadelphia, police said.
Officers were dispatched to a church on the 700 block of E Cornwall Street around 8:15 p.m. for a man, believed be under the influence of drugs, standing on the steeple of a church, city police said.

Fugitive Caught After Overnight Standoff In South Jersey: Police
A fugitive was taken into custody after an overnight standoff in Atlantic County, authorities said.
Prentiss Blaylock, 37, of Egg Harbor Township, was arrested on Friday, Apr. 19, according to an Egg Harbor Township police spokesperson. The scene on Ivins Avenue had been active for more than 24 hours, the police department said in a Facebook post.
Blaylock was sought for unlawful possession of a weapon, child abuse, aggravated assault, terroristic threats, resisting arrest, and theft. He was listed on the Atlantic County Sheriff's Office's "most wanted" list.

A 13-year-old boy was arrested in connection with a double shooting in Atlantic City, authorities said.
On Tuesday, July 12, at 12:57 p.m., police responded to a shooting and a ShotSpotter alert near the 1700 block of Atlantic Avenue.
Police found a crime scene and evidence of gunfire but initially did not locate a victim.
