Armed Robber Tied Up Atlantic City Mini-Mart Clerk, Police Say An armed robber was chased and captured after tying up a store clerk in Atlantic City, authorities said. At 2:31 p.m. on Tuesday, patrol officers responded to the Super Mini Mart in the 2300 block of Atlantic Avenue for a panic alarm.  Sergeant TJ Moynihan arrived and found that the store clerk had been robbed at knife point. The suspect had stolen money and other items and used tape from the store to bind the clerk’s hands together before fleeing, police said.
