An Atlantic City man out of prison on parole admitted to shooting another man during a planned fistfight, authorities said. Jawaun Yeoman, 27, pleaded guilty on Tuesday, July 16 to second-degree aggravated assault, second-degree possession of a firearm for an unlawful purpose, and first-degree unlawful possession of a handgun by a prior No Early Release Act felon. Police are searching for two men in separate shootings in Atlantic City, authorities said. In a news release on Monday, May 6, Atlantic City police said 19-year-old Ashan Jackson of Galloway was wanted in a shooting on Wednesday, Mar. 13. A 33-year-old Atlantic City man was wounded in a shooting on Saturday, March 25, authorities said. At 7:40 p.m., Atlantic City police responded to Sovereign and Sunset avenues for a shooting.
