Mangia! Popular Italian Market Livoti's Opening New Location On Jersey Shore
An Italian grocery store known for gourmet meats and other delicacies is opening its first location in Ocean County. Livoti's Old World Market said it will open its newest store in Brick Township on Thursday, Mar. 7. The store will be located in the Laurel Square shopping plaza on Route 88. This will be the fifth market for Livoti's, which started in 2010 with its first store in Aberdeen. The other three markets are in Monmouth County in Freehold, Marlboro, and Middletown. Bus Fatality Under Investigation In Lakewood
The Ocean County Prosecutor's Office is investigating a fatal pedestrian crash involving a New Jersey Transit bus, authorities said. A 33-year-old man, who has not been identified, was killed, according to Ocean County Prosecutor Bradley D. Billhimer. The fatal crash occurred at about 9:45 p.m. Monday at the Lakewood Bus Terminal on Route 88, Billhimer said. The driver of the bus was located in Howell and has been cooperative with the investigation, Billhimer said. The victim was found lying by the side of the road. Police: Lakewood Man Moons Walmart Customers, Records It
A Lakewood man mooned several Walmart customers -- including a young child -- and recorded it on his cellphone, authorities said. Mordechai Grubin, 27, was charged with lewdness, Brick Sgt. James Kelly said. Patrolman Joseph Riccio responded to a call from the Route 88 store around 5 p.m. Thursday. Riccio arrested Grubin, who was later released on a summons.
