Woman Knocked Unconscious, Kidnapped Outside Toms River Grocery Store: Police
A man was accused of kidnapping a woman in the parking lot of a Toms River grocery store, authorities said. Luis Morenogutierrez was arrested on Sunday, Feb. 25, the Toms River Police Department said in a news release. No age or hometown was given for Morenogutierrez. Police responded to customers arguing in the parking lot of the Aldi on Route 70 at around 6:55 p.m. When officers arrived, they learned a woman had been kidnapped at knifepoint by a man. South Jersey Dealer Used Apartment Complex To Sell Drugs: Prosecutors
A Lakewood man was accused of selling several illegal drugs from an Ocean County apartment complex, authorities said. Jamar Montgomery, 30, was given more than a dozen charges, including several drug-related offenses, Ocean County Prosecutor Bradley Billhimer announced on Thursday, Feb. 22. He was arrested in a two-week-long investigation at Freedom Village off Massachusetts Avenue in Toms River. Investigators said Montgomery used a home on Dream Court to store and sell narcotics. A Monmouth County man is accused of giving a mix of heroin and fentanyl that killed a man in Ocean County on the day after Christmas, authorities said. A Jackson Township man was charged in an investigation into crack cocaine sold in Ocean County, authorities said. Justin Love, 25, was arrested on Wednesday, Feb. 14 after police searched a home and his vehicle, Ocean County Prosecutor Bradley Billhimer announced on Thursday, Feb. 15. An Ocean County ex-convict and parolee once featured on the TV show "America's Most Wanted" admitted to his role in the stabbing death of a Seaside Heights man, authorities said.
