Two More Suspects Arrested In Bridgeton Killing: Prosecutor Two teenagers have been arrested in connection with a fatal shooting on Sunday,, Jan. 29, in Bridgeton, authorities said. On Wednesday, Feb. 1, two 17-year-old juveniles from Bridgeton were charged with murder, aggravated assault and weapons offenses, according to Cumberland County Prosecutor Jennifer Webb-McRae. Murder: Arrest Made In Bridgeton Shooting That Killed One Teen, Injured Another A 21-year-old man has been charged with murder and related offenses in a shooting that left a  17-year-old boy dead and a 17-year-old girl wounded in Bridgeton, authorities said. Iban Perez faces charges of murder, conspiracy to commit murder, and  aggravated assault in the shootings on the 300 block of North Pearl Street, sometime around 12:35 a.m. Sunday, Jan. 28, Cumberland County Prosecutor Jennifer Webb-McRae said. Cumberland County Driver Indicted For Leaving Scene Of Fatal Pedestrian Crash A 66-year-old Cumberland County man has been indicted for leaving the scene of a hit-and-run pedestrian crash, authorities said. Steven Clark was unlicensed at the time of the crash, Prosecutor Jennifer Webb-McRae said. His minivan was traveling on North Pearl Street in Bridgeton around 8:40 p.m. on Oct. 17, 2022, when prosecutors say the vehicle struck Leonardo Sanchez-Salas as he crossed the street, the prosecutor said. Seen This CAR? South Jersey Police Seek Help Finding Hit-Run Driver A hit-and-run driver left a pedestrian seriously hurt in South Jersey, authorities said. Bridgeton police seek the public's help finding a Chevy Equinox that left the scene of a crash on Friday, June 24 at 1:43 a.m. on North Pearl Street. After striking the man, the car continued east on Irving Avenue, police said. The man suffered a serious head injury, police said. The car was described as a late model Chevy Equinox missing its front registration plate.  Anyone with information is asked to call Detective Matt Rammell at 856-451-0033.

Fugitive Sought In South Jersey Fatal Shooting Authorities are seeking the public's help locating a fugitive in a South Jersey shooting. A grand jury has indicted David Morales-Olmedo, 26, of Bridgeton in the fatal shooting on June 3. Morales-Olmedo was charged with first-degree murder and several weapons offenses. Mario Soriano, 28, was shot multiple times during a party at a home on North Pearl Street in Bridgeton, Cumberland County.
