Camden's Angel Manuel Diaz, Food Bank Worker, Dies Suddenly At 45
Angel Manuel Diaz, of Camden and formerly of Philadelphia, died suddenly on June 3 in Philadelphia, according to an obituary published by Falco, Caruso & Leonard Funeral Home. He was 45 years old.
Angel graduated from Woodrow Wilson High School in 1997, and for the past decade, has worked at the Food Bank of Delaware, his obituary said.
He started as a maintenance coordinator and climbed his way up to serve as Director of Fleet and Logistics overseeing the Food Bank of Delaware's team of drivers and fleet of vehicles in both Newark and Milford, Delaware.

A pair of young filmmakers from the Baltimore area were killed in a crash on Interstate 95 in Delaware while returning from a production in Philadelphia, according to news reports and those who knew them.

A Philadelphia resident was one of two men charged with trying to kidnap a University of Delaware student from her off-campus apartment, authorities said.
The victim had recently met Rene Villate Umpierre, 20, and invited him inside on Saturday night, several news outlets report citing Newark, DE police. Umpierre went inside as Keniel Rivera Peraza, 24, of Elkton, MD, waited outside in a car, authorities said.
