Camden Man, 32, Shot Dead: Prosecutor A 32-year-old man from Camden was shot dead on Saturday, April 13, authorities said. At about 10:20 p.m., the Camden County Police Department received a ShotSpotter activation for gunfire in the area of the 1600 block of Mt. Ephraim Avenue in Camden City, according to the Camden County Prosecutor's Office. Police found two male victims suffering from gunshot wounds. The fire was brought under control by about 9 a.m. The fire was considered suspicious but is still under investigation, a spokesman said. There were no injuries.

His mom, Shamane Allen, was demanding answers and remembered her son as the one who stayed calm amid chaos. "So for him to die in a violent way is heart-wrenching to me," she told the outlet.
