Spang, of Medford, was killed in the crash involving his Chevy Silverado, a New Jersey State Police spokeswoman said. Jacob B. Dischert, 25, who was operating a Jeep Grand Cherokee, was treated for minor injuries, Trooper Brandi Slota said. The crash occurred at 7:54 a.m. Wednesday, March 30, in Southampton when Dischert, who was southbound on Eayrestown Road, slammed into the side of Spring's pickup eastbound on Route 616, she said.
