Small Plane Crashes Near South Jersey Regional Airport: FAA A single-engine Beechcraft Sierra crashed shortly after departing South Jersey Regional Airport in Lumberton, according to the FAA, The crash occurred at around 5:15 p.m. on Monday, April 22.  Only the pilot was on board, the FAA said. The federal agency did not say whether the pilot was injured. The FAA and the National Transportation Safety Board (NTSB) will investigate. The NTSB will be in charge of the investigation and will provide any updates.
