Arrest Made In South Jersey Middle School Shooting: Police
An arrest has been made in a shooting that took place outside a middle school in Camden County, authorities said.
Taijun Blount, 18, of Lindenwold, was charged with aggravated assault with a handgun, endangering the welfare of a minor and a weapons offense, Gloucester City police said.
Blount was being held at Camden Correctional Facility.
On Sunday, April 24, at 7:59 p.m., police responded to a report of shots fired at Gloucester City Middle School. Upon arrival, police found no gunshot victims, they said.

Dad Of 3 Dead, Another Hurt In Camden County Shooting
A father of three was killed and another injured in a Camden County shooting Friday, April 22, authorities said.
Alvin Redd, 25, was found lying in the street on the 400 block of West Park Avenue in Lindenwold around 8:10 p.m. with apparent gunshot wounds, Camden County Prosecutor Grace C. MacAulay said.
He was rushed to the hospital where he was pronounced dead around 8:45 p.m., she said alongside Lindenwold Police Chief Michael P. McCarthy, Jr.
A second victim, a 29-year-old Camden man, also was injured in the shooting and later arrived at Jefferson Hospital-Stratford for treatment.

The Little Tuna, a popular seafood eatery for the past 20 years in South Jersey, has closed.
The Little Tuna opened in 2001 at 403 N. Haddon Ave. in Haddonfield before moving to 141 Kings Highway East. Three years ago, Little Tuna moved to 4 N. White Horse Pike in Lindenwold.
The Little Tuna's owners announced their Feb. 1 closure here on Facebook. They cited the coronavirus pandemic as a factor in their decision.
