A 60-year-old man from South Jersey was sentenced to 17 years in New Jersey State Prison for the 1996 aggravated sexual assault and 2003 endangerment of two Atlantic County children, authorities said. South Jersey Man, 68, Gets 3 Years For Inappropriate Sexual Conduct With Girl
A 68-year-old man from South Jersey has been sentenced to three years in state prison for inappropriate sexual conduct with an underage girl, authorities said. Anthony J. Perona, 68, of Mullica Hill in Gloucester County was sentenced on Thursday after pleading guilty in August to endangering the welfare of a child, Acting Atlantic County Prosecutor Cary Shill said. Newark Man Arrested In $1.76M Armored Car Heist Near Atlantic City Casino
A Newark man has been arrested in connection to the theft of more than $1.76 million from an armored van outside Bally’s Casino, authorities said. Dante J. McCluney has been charged with burglary, theft and conspiracy, according to Atlantic County Prosecutor Damon G. Tyner. South Jersey Fire Chiefs Charged With Stealing Department Money To Create Auto Parts Accounts
The fire chief and assistant chief of a volunteer company in Atlantic County have been charged with official misconduct and theft after using fire department money to set up unauthorized accounts at an auto parts shop, authorities said. Mizpah Volunteer Fire Company Chief Jay Davenport II and Assistant Chief Craig Paxton also were charged with conspiracy, Atlantic County Prosecutor Damon G. Tyner said.
