Woman Killed When SUV Crashes Into Woods Off Jersey Shore Road, Police Say A Manchester Township woman was killed when her SUV crashed into the woods in Lacey Township, authorities said. Rosemary Pfluge, 72, of Whiting, died in the crash on Saturday, Aug. 17, the Lacey Township Police Department said in a news release. Officers responded to the scene on County Route 539 near milepost 20 at around 11:28 p.m. Police found a 2012 grey Jeep Liberty partially overturned about 50 feet in the woods. Pfluge was trapped in the SUV with serious injuries. Forked River and Whiting firefighters extricated Pfluge from the Jeep. She was rushed to Community Medica…

On Tuesday, Sept. 6, 2022, at 2:24 p.m. Westampton Township police responded to East Pennington Drive. A Jeep had run off the road and into a backyard. Driver's Baby Dies In South Jersey Crash A 3-month-old baby was killed in a crash in South Jersey, authorities said. The crash occurred at about 5 a.m. Monday on Silver Run Road in Millville, Cumberland County. An 18-year-old woman from Pemberton in Burlington County was driving southbound near Dividing Creek Road when her Jeep Liberty left the road, according to Millville police. The Jeep rolled over and struck a utility pole. The baby was taken to Inspira Medical Center Vineland, where he was pronounced dead, police said. The woman was not seriously injured.
