Tanker Truck Overturns On I-295 Curve In Camden County Good Samaritans stopped to help a tanker truck that overturned on I-295 North in Bellmawr on Saturday, Jan. 25. One driver called 9-1-1 just after 12:40 p.m., when the driver lost control while navigating a curve at milepost 27, causing the vehicle to veer off the roadway and overturn, according to New Jersey State Police and Daily Voice sources. The driver sustained minor injuries and was transported to a local hospital, authorities said. The crash is under investigation, and no additional details were immediately available.

Man, 21, Dies In Motorcycle Crash On I-295 In Central Jersey, Troopers Say A Millville man was killed when his motorcycle crashed on Interstate 295 in Mercer County, authorities said. John Marion, 21, died in the crash on Wednesday, Nov. 6, a state police spokesperson said. It happened on I-295 North near milepost 65.4 in Hamilton Township at around 11:49 a.m. Investigators said Marion was driving a Kawasaki motorcycle and struck the back of a Mini Cooper. His motorcycle overturned and he was ejected. Marion was pronounced dead at the scene. No injuries were reported in the Mini Cooper. The crash remained under investigation.

Wrong-Way Crash Closes NJ Turnpike For Hours On Labor Day A wrong-way crash closed a portion of the NJ Turnpike up for hours on Labor Day. The accident happened just before 1:40 a.m. on the northbound side of the Turnpike in Carneys Point, New Jersey State Police Sgt. Philip Curry said.
