Crash Brings Emergency Response To I-295
A crash during Thursday morning's commute on Sept. 19 brought a large emergency response to the northbound lanes of I-295. As of 8:40 a.m., an ambulance and firetruck were at the scene in Barrington. A delay of 5-10 minutes was reported.

Land Rover Driver, 26, Killed In Wild Crash On I-295: State Police
A 26-year-old man died after crashing his SUV on I-295 Friday, July 5, authorities said. Nicholas Schroeder was heading south in a Land Rover when he ran off the road to the left, struck a metal guardrail, got back on the roadway and struck a GMC SUV also heading south around 12:35 p.m. in Westampton at milepost 44.4, New Jersey State Police Sgt. Charles Marchan said. Schroeder, of Maple Shade, ran off the road to the right, struck several trees and overturned, according to Marchan. Delays were reported on I-295 Wednesday morning, Dec. 27 due to a crash in Mount Laurel. It happened around 10:30 a.m. on the southbound side when an Audi lost control, ran off the roadway, struck a guardrail and then re-entered the highway near milepost 39.9, New Jersey State Police Trooper Troy McNair said. The car collided with a Ford SUV which then struck a Chevy SUV on impact, the trooper said. No injuries were reported. 5 Hospitalized In Overnight I-295 Crash Involving Tree: State Police
Two people were seriously injured and three others hurt in a crash on I-295 early Friday, Nov. 24 in Gloucester County, police said. A Honda was heaving north when the driver lost directional control near milepost 16.6 in Greenwich Township at 2 a.m., New Jersey State Police Trooper Troy McNair said. The car ran off the road and struck a tree leading a 72- and 72-year-old pair, of Willingboro, seriously injured, McNair said. Three others suffered minor injuries. All occupants were taken to an area hospital. The crash remains under investigation.

A crash on I-295 had traffic crawling in Mount Laurel on Wednesday, Nov. 22. According to the NJDOT website, it happened around 3:40 p.m. in the southbound lanes near Exit 40. A 10-minute delay was being reported.

Police ID Pickup Driver Killed In I-295 Crash
State police are investigating a fatal crash on I-295 in Burlington County. Frank C. Parolari, 64, of New Egypt, was heading north near milepost 51 in a Dodge pickup truck when he ran off the roadway to the left and struck multiple trees, around 5:50 p.m. Friday, Oct. 20 in Florence Township, NJSP Detective I Jeffrey Lebron said. Parolari died as a result of the crash, which remains under investigation.

Driver, 31, Killed In Burlington County Crash With Freightliner
A 31-year-old driver was killed and another seriously hurt in a crash on I-295 overnight. Stanley Altidor, 31, of Florence Township, was operating a Chevrolet Equinox behind a Freightliner when he struck the back of the truck near milepost 46.6 around 3:30 a.m. in the northbound lanes in Burlington Township, New Jersey State Police said. Altidor was taken to Virtua Mount Holly Hospital where he was later pronounced dead, NJSP Sgt. Alejandro Goez said. Driver, 18, Seriously Hurt In I-295 Crash: State Police
An 18-year-old driver was seriously hurt in an early morning crash on I-295 in Mercer County, state police confirmed. Onur Deniz, of Mount Laurel, was behind the wheel of a Volkswagen heading on the southbound ramp to Rt. 1 in Lawrence Township when the vehicle ran off the road and struck the guardrail while negotiating a curve to the right around 3:25 a.m. on Monday, Sept. 12, NJSP Trooper Brandi Slota told DailyVoice.com. Deniz suffered serious injuries in the crash, Slota said. The accident remains under investigation. Additional details were not released.

A popular hotel and water park in Burlington County — shuttered for two years due to the COVID-19 pandemic — is set to reopen under new ownership, according to media reports. The 14-acre hotel and indoor water park in Mt. Laurel plans a staggered reopening, 42Freeway reported. The property, which used to be known as The Hotel ML and Coco Key Water Resort, sits at 915 Route 73 between I-295 and the New Jersey Turnpike. NJ Man Wanted For Killing Victim, Dumping Body On PA Highway: Report
A warrant has been issued for the arrest of a New Jersey man wanted for killing another Garden State resident and dumping his body along a Pennsylvania highway, PennLive reports. Robert Christie, 36, of Trenton, was charged Friday, Aug. 12 with criminal homicide, abuse of a corpse, and tampering with evidence, among other offenses, in the shooting death of Joshua McRae, 31, also of Trenton, the outlet says citing the Philadelphia Inquirer.
