These 10 NJ Stop & Shop Stores Have Closed
New Jersey officially has 10 fewer Stop & Shop stores.
The 10 underperforming locations closed were among 32 nationwide that the grocer announced would be closing by year's end.
Stop & Shop has kept 350 stores open, including 47 in New Jersey.
The stores that closed on or before Nov. 2 were:

NJ Teacher Tried Paying Teen For Sex, Sent Graphic Video: Prosecutor
A Monmouth County elementary school teacher is accused of trying to pay cash for a sex act from someone who he thought was a teen girl, authorities said.
Thomas Carraher, 26, of Howell, was arrested on Thursday, Jan. 18, Monmouth County Prosecutor Raymond Santiago announced on Friday, Jan. 19.
Carraher's LinkedIn bio says: "I am passionate about health, fitness, sports, and educating the youth."

22,000+ NJ Residents Without Power, Severe Thunderstorm Watch Remains In Effect
Thousands of New Jersey residents were without power after a round of powerful afternoon storms swept through the region.
The National Weather Service issued a Severe Thunderstorm Watch for much of the region through 11 p.m., and that comes after a round of quarter-sized hail and gusty winds.
As of 5:25 p.m., the following areas were without power:

Alleged Serial Bank Robber, 67, Arrested On Jersey Shore: Police
Lakewood police arrested a 67-year-old man in connection with a June bank robbery and attempted bank robbery, authorities said.
Ivan Sevastianow, of Howell, was charged with robbing a TD Bank on June 30, Lakewood police said, and attempting to rob a local Wells Fargo bank.
He was facing similar charges in Old Bridge, police said.
On the afternoon of June 30, Sevastianow allegedly walked into the Wells Fargo located at 425 W. Kennedy Blvd. and handed a bank teller a note demanding money, Lakewood police said.
