6 People Hurt When NJ Transit Bus Is Rear-Ended Six people including the driver were injured when a New Jersey Transit bus was rear-ended by another vehicle, authorities said. The crash occurred at about 9 a.m. Monday, Oct. 17 on bus route 508 at Atlantic and Chelsea avenues in Atlantic City, according to Jim Smith, a NJ Transit spokesman. The bus was stopped when it was struck from behind, Smith said. Twelve people were on board. Five riders plus the driver claimed minor injuries and were taken to the hospital, Smith said.

Three Passengers Hurt In NJ Transit Bus Collision A Philadelphia-bound NJ Transit bus was struck by a car in Camden County on Friday, injuring three of its passengers. At approximately 4 p.m., a bus operating on the 404 Line from the Cherry Hill Mall to Philadelphia-6 th Street with six passengers aboard was struck by a car, according to Kate Thompson, a NJ Transit spokeswoman.  The car had been double-parked and was backing up when it made contact with the rear passenger side of the bus near the door, Thompson said.
