Police in Manchester are seeking the public's help in locating a 24-year-old woman last heard from more than two weeks ago. Erin Garofalo last spoke to her family on the phone on Thursday, July 25, police in Manchester said. She was last known to be in the area of Barnt Avenue in Trenton and has been known to frequent the Hamilton, Princeton, and East Windsor areas. Driver Hospitalized After Smashing Into Roadway Service Vehicle In Mercer County
A 23-year-old driver was hospitalized after she crashed into an unoccupied roadway service vehicle along Route 29 in Mercer County, authorities said. Police ID College Student Killed In I-295 Crash
Authorities have identified the 20-year-old driver killed in a single-vehicle crash on Interstate 295 in Mercer County. Samuel Beale, of the Kenvil section of Roxbury, was driving a Nissan SUV northbound near milepost 60.6 in Hamilton shortly before 8 p.m. Sunday, April 14, when he veered off the highway to the left and struck a concrete bridge support and guardrail, New Jersey State Police said. Beale was pronounced dead at the scene, State Police said. Beale was a sophomore economics major at Rider University in Lawrenceville, according to his LinkedIn.com profile.

A 20-year-old driver from Morris County was killed in a single-vehicle crash on Interstate 295 in Mercer County, authorities said. The man was driving a Nissan SUV north at milepost 60.6 in Hamilton at about 7:50 p.m. Sunday, April 14, when he veered off the highway to the left and collided with a concrete bridge support and guardrail, according to New Jersey State Police Sgt. Jeffrey Lebron. The driver, from the Kenvil section of Roxbury, died at the scene. His identity will be released pending notification of next of kin, Lebron said. The investigation is active, police said.

Former Hightstown Youth Football League President Stole $16K: Cops
A former president of a youth football and cheerleading organization in Mercer County has been arrested for stealing $16,000, authorities said. Luis O. Albino of Hamilton was charged with theft in the incidents reported by Hightstown Rams Youth Football and Cheerleading, according to West Windsor police. The thefts were reported by the current president of the organization, police said. She observed multiple unauthorized $2,000 withdrawals. Galloway Township Cockfighting Arrests
More than 50 people were arrested after police broke up a large cockfighting ring in Atlantic County, authorities said. Galloway Township police executed a search warrant at a home on the 300 block of South Bremen Avenue on Saturday, Mar. 9, the department said in a news release. When officers arrived, a large group of people were there and many tried to run away before they were detained. Investigators found an "elaborate cockfighting operation" that included a fighting ring, seating for spectators, and several cockfighting kits. A police officer was shot in Mercer County while responding to a domestic incident, authorities said. Hamilton officers were called to a disturbance on the 1800 block of Orchard Avenue around 2:20 a.m. when the gunman opened fire on the officers, the department said. The injured officer was taken to CHS-Fuld and is expected to survive. The Mercer County Prosecutor's Office and the New Jersey Attorney General's Office are investigating this incident.

Most of those who lost electricity are in Monmouth County, according to utility companies. Hamilton Man, 23, Killed In Rollover Crash In Mercer County
A 23-year-old man from Hamilton was killed when his car struck a boulder and rolled over in Princeton, authorities said. The driver who was killed in the one-car crash was identified as Matt Leon. The crash occurred at 11:45 p.m. on Wednesday, Oct. 4 on Mercer Road near Quaker Road, Princeton police said. Leon was traveling south when he entered the shoulder of the road and struck the boulder and overturned, police said.
