NJ College Student Jillian Ludwig Dies After Being Shot In Head: Nashville Police
Jillian Ludwig, the 18-year-old college student from New Jersey who was shot while walking on a track in Nashville earlier this week, has died, police said.
Ludwig, a Belmar native, was in critical condition ever since Tuesday, Nov. 7, when she was struck by a stray bullet fired by 29-year-old Shaquille Taylor, who was shooting at a car from a public housing complex across the street, Metro Nashville police said.
The Belmont University freshman, an avid runner and musician, died less than two days later, the police department said on Thursday, Nov. 9.

Man Dead, Woman Wounded In Camden Shooting
A man was killed and a woman was wounded in a Camden shooting Friday, Oct. 27, authorities said.
Akeem Jenkins, 33, and a 32-year-old woman, both city residents, were found with gunshot wounds just before 8 p.m., on the 2800 block of Hull Road, Camden County Prosecutor Grace C. MacAulay and Camden County Police Chief Gabriel Rodriguez said.
Both victims were taken to Cooper University Hospital, where Jenkins died and was pronounced dead at 8:41 p.m. The woman has been released from the hospital. The investigation is active and ongoing.

Charges have been upgraded for the gunman now accused of shooting two partygoers dead in an incident that killed a total of three and wounded nearly a dozen in 2021 in South Jersey.
Arthur Armstead, 30, of Fairfield Township, has been charged with first degree murder, one count of first degree Conspiracy to Commit Murder, and other related offenses in connection with the deaths of Kevin Elliott and Brailyn Holmes, Cumberland County Prosecutor Jennifer Webb-McRae said.
