Diego Ferreira, 37, of Long Branch, was found dead in the Navesink River in Middletown, a state police spokesperson said. Investigators said Ferreira was fishing in the river at night on Monday, Mar. 25. Ferreira was reported missing to state police at around 5:22 a.m. on Tuesday, Mar. 26. A warrant was secured on Tuesday for the arrest of Richard Walski, 46 of Luzerne County for the murder of his wife, Patricia.  On August 13, after a welfare check, Patricia Walski was foiund dead at their home at 195 Schrader St. in Larksville Borough, state police said at the time.
