Voters nationally prefer Democratic presidential nominee Vice President Kamala Harris over her Republican opponent, former President Donald Trump, a brand-new survey by Fairleigh Dickinson University in New Jersey shows. The seven-point margin (50 to 43) is largely due to race and gender, the FDU poll shows. The survey was conducted between Saturday, Aug. 17 and Tuesday, Aug. 20, using a voter list of registered voters nationwide carried out by Braun Research of Princeton, New Jersey. He was going for an FBI agent, but while growing up in Rutherford and meeting his friends' parents and coaches who were police officers, he decided to switch gears. Rep. Andy Kim has a double digit lead over First Lady Tammy Murphy in the fight for the Democratic nomination for U.S. Senate, according to a new poll from Fairleigh Dickinson University. The poll, released Friday, Feb. 2., shows Kim, who represents the 3rd Congressional District, leading Murphy 32 percent to 20 percent, with 31 percent of voters undecided. There is wide bipartisan support for smoking in Atlantic City casinos, according to a new poll. There also is opposition to expanding gambling outside of Atlantic City, the poll by Fairleigh Dickinson University found. The survey was released on Thursday, Nov. 10. Atlantic City casinos have been grappling with the issue of smoking on the gaming floors. ‘Teacher of the Year’ and devoted South Jersey mom Erin Semus died at her home in Williamstown on Tuesday, Aug. 16 following a brief illness. She was 39. A native of Vineland, Erin attended St. Mary Elementary School before graduating as the Valedictorian of her 2001 class at the Sacred Heart School, her obituary says.
