South Jersey Teens Crash Stolen Car During Wild Police Chase In DE, Troopers Say Two boys from Salem County were accused of leading police on a high-speed chase in Delaware, crashing a stolen car and hospitalizing another driver, authorities said. A 14-year-old from Penns Grove and a 16-year-old from Deepwater were given several felony charges, Delaware State Police said in a news release. The teens were taken into custody after the chase in New Castle, DE, on Sunday, Dec. 29. Armed Juveniles Stealing Cars, Robbing Gas Stations In South Jersey, Police Warn A group of juveniles from Wilmington, DE have carried out multiple robberies across Salem County, authorities warn. Heightened criminal activity has been reported within the Carneys Point, Penns Grove, Deepwater, and Pennsville areas, police said on Facebook.  The juveniles have mostly been targeting gas stations, but they are also targeting area residents and attempt to steal their cars, Carneys Point police said These are believed to be the same juveniles that police have dealt with in the past, they said.
