A New Jersey State Police trooper was airlifted with serious injuries in a crash on the Atlantic City Expressway late Friday, Oct. 27, the agency said. Troopers were out of their vehicles conducting a motor vehicle stop on a Chevrolet Cobalt on the left shoulder of the Atlantic City Expressway east, at milepost 17.8, Hamilton Township around 11:30 p.m., NJSP Sgt. South Jersey Man, 22, Seriously Hurt In I-295 Crash
A South Jersey motorist was seriously injured in a two-vehicle collision in Salem County, authorities said. The 22-year-old man from Gloucester County was driving a Chevrolet Cobalt west on Straughns Mill Road when his car collided with a Ford F-450 truck also traveling west, said Trooper Alejandro Goez, a New Jersey State Police spokesman. Manahawkin Woman, 20, Dead In Horrific Garden State Parkway Crash
A 20-year-old Manahawkin woman was killed after her car ran off the Garden State Parkway crash Sunday night, New Jersey State Police said. Grace Conover was heading southbound in a Chevrolet Cobalt when she ran off the road to the right near milepost 60.8 in Eagleswood Township around 9:30 p.m., NJSP Sgt. Philip Curry said. Conover's car went down an embankment and struck several trees, ejecting the driver, Curry said. Conover was pronounced dead and the Parkway was closed for approximately three hours, police said.
