Deadly Cheeses Prompt Massive Recall Nationwide: CDC, FDA, USDA
Dairy products linked to deaths and serious illness — sold nationwide at many major retailers — are being recalled, the Center for Disease Control, the US Department of Agriculture, and the Food And Drug Administration announced in multiple releases over the first week of February. CDC Tells Customs Agents To Destroy Mysterious ‘Bushmeat’ Seized At Newark Airport
It’s with understandable concern that federal authorities seized nine pounds of illegal “bushmeat” that a passenger brought into Newark Airport from Ghana. "We are glad to share that Santacon has officially been canceled by the event organizers, which will help protect Hoboken residents from a potential super-spreader type event." The ad…

Sheriff: Two More Bergen County Jail Inmates Test Positive For Coronavirus
Two more inmates at the Bergen County Jail recently tested positive for the coronavirus, one of whom was hospitalized and another who was receiving medical care in an isolation unit at the lockup, Sheriff Anthony Cureton said Monday. The 40-year-old Salvadoran national in ICE custody and a 54-year-old county inmate brought the total number of inmates who tested positive to three, the sheriff said. The first positive case, a 31-year-old ICE detainee, was released by federal authorities last Thursday, he said. The 40-year-old detainee was sent for medical evaluation after displaying symptoms…
